Weihertalmuhle in Quirla

Very nice and idyllic location. Could also be in the Black Forest or the "Wirtshaus im Spessart" ... Very good menu: Thuringian, down-to-earth, but with that certain flair and imaginative preparation. Very nice, very warm and courteous service. Very friendly service. Very nice destination. Make a reservation at the weekend.

We went to the Weihertalmühle for the second time today, the first time over a year ago the service and the food didn't convince us. This time the food was delicious and sufficient, we had freshly smoked trout (tip!), Boiled beef and schnitzel. The service was also convincing: food and drinks came quickly and completely, the service was very courteous and attentive.

Clean, small hotel in the woods. It is essential to register by phone beforehand or check whether it is a day of rest.

At first glance, a nice guest house. We strongly advise against an overnight stay. The heating pump runs loud all night, but the room does not get warmer than 15 degrees. Fragrance sticks are set up all over the house, but the room still smells like a drain. We were in the fireplace room, unfortunately we didn't get any wood to heat. At 15 degrees with a thin blanket, the night was a horror.

We had landed by chance in the Weiher mill, because we were hungry and nothing else on the way up. The route to the restaurant was a bit adventurous (narrow, sometimes very muddy) - well that was nothing for us - you had the feeling the world is over. Unfortunately, the terrain around the mill was also very muddy, so cars, shoes, trousers had to be thoroughly cleaned at home. In the dining room we came through the back entrance, as the main entrance from the parking lot is a bit hidden. We would be greeted warmly and by saying that the chef was a little late the card would be brought to us. Luckily the cook came soon so we could place our order. Before that there was (I suppose as a compensation - but would not have been necessary) bread with herbed quark and goose fat. Delicious. We did not have to wait too long for our food - trout - and it was delicious. The side salad with mandarin, leek and? was unusual but very good. Price - performance perfectly okay. We like to come back - but then in the summer, with dry soil.

We were very surprised, great location, good service and open minded staff. Our birthday family celebration was a complete success and made a positive impression on everyone. We will be back!! Werner from Stade

Food really really delicious and incredibly abundant, I barely made my plate. Very friendly service, all food came at the same time. Price performance more than adequate!

Already as a small child we were with our grandmother often in the Weihertal mill. Meanwhile, we are grown and I am very happy that the Weihertal mill has reopened! The atmosphere is very idyllic and it is wonderfully quiet in the Weihertal. You can sit outside comfortably or indoors. The map is manageable, but there is something for everyone and the prices are reasonable. I can only recommend a visit :)

We were today on Sunday evening in this idyllic place and were very pleasantly surprised! Very attentive, sympathetic and informal service, as attractive food selection, very short waiting times (although well attended) and the food was very tasty. We felt very comfortable and will be back soon.

The great location and a great kitchen.

A great menu that promises a lot and leaves nothing to be desired. Honest and very good kitchen with great attention to detail and everything homemade. By chance, we became aware of this gem on the return journey. Definitely worth a visit. We are completely thrilled and satisfied.

Beautifully located in the forest, very good food and friendly service. There is a circular walk 5.5 km - worth the trip.

Beautifully located restaurant with great staff and despite the current circumstances, although a small, but very fine menu! Delicious food and a great service complete the visit in the beautiful Quirla and encourage us to come back very happy. Keep it up!!

We were in the restaurant as part of a small celebration ... lunch and later coffee & cake. Everything was very tasty, good home cooking - and without long waiting times! The staff were very courteous and - despite the full guest rooms - always attentive and with a smile on their faces. Many thanks to the great Weihertalmühle team!

according to the menu 250g asparagus! Where should these be? Waiting for food for over 2 hours! Never again

Were now twice in the Weihertal mill eat, once for dinner and once for coffee, both times have been disappointed. It was delicious, but the staff was nice and friendly but not competent. Price performance does not match. What we also regret, there is hardly anything vegetarian. When we were there for coffee we had to wait a long time for coffee and cake. A pity.

We spent a very nice evening at the inn. Even for the smallest of us there was a good variety of food on the menu. The food for the kids came very fast and a bit earlier than ours. So we could help relax and then eat relaxed. The food was very good. The service staff was very friendly and attentive. The atmosphere in the dining room is very nice, the charm of the old, very well combined with a new interior. We will gladly come back and spend a night there. The inn is quiet and secluded. But not too secluded, because the highway is not even 5 minutes away. An additional plus point: the beloved four-legged friend does not have to stay in the car or in front of the door, but is allowed to join the table!
